Rosemary Clooney had a #1 hit in ‘Hey There;’ The Partridge Family (pictured) and a Beatles cartoon series debuted on ABC; Queen was the musical guest on Saturday Night Live; and Elvis Presley performed on the stage of the Grand Ole Opry.
