Seattle-Denver Super Bowl Rematch Scores Super TV Ratings

Seattle’s 26-20 overtime win over Denver Sunday resulted in another huge TV rating nationally and locally. The contest, televised by CBS, was the highest-rated NFL game of the weekend on any network, according to CBS officials, earning an average household rating of 16.9 nationally and a share of 32. Locally, the game drew a 41.9 rating (the rating is the percentage of all TVs tuned to that station) and a 79 share (the share is the percentage of all TVs in use at that tuned to that station).
