Original CKNW Staffer Ferdy Baglo Dead at 93
At the age of 16 Baglo was hired at Vancouver radio station CKMO. In 1944, when CKNW radio was established, he was asked to be their first music director, and felt privileged to be a key member of their original staff.
RIP Dick France, Technician at CBC Vancouver & CKWX, aged 90
Dick was part of the production team for CBC Vancouver programs Cariboo Country (1960), The Education of Phyllistine (1964), The Beachcombers (1972-1990), Canadian Gardener (1989) and Spilled Milk (1995).
