KIRO-TV’s New Leader is from KOIN Portland

The search for the next VP/GM at Cox Media Group‘s CBS affiliate serving the Seattle-Tacoma market is over.

The news of a new leader at KIRO-7 comes just three days after the media company now tied to Apollo Global Management revealed its current leader, Greg Biltewould retire as of June 30.

Taking the role of VP/GM at KIRO, effective July 1, is Pat Nevin.

The veteran television industry executive has served as VP/GM of KOIN-6, the Nexstar-owned CBS affiliate serving Portland, Ore., since January 2017.
