Pioneer CBC WWII Correspondent Peter Stursberg Dead at 101

“We are very sad to hear about the passing of Peter Stursberg,” said Jennifer McGuire, editor-in-chief of CBC News. “His reporting brought the war home and brought Canadians to the front-lines of Europe. He helped pave the way for a generation of war correspondents who continue to risk their lives so we can better understand our world.”

Paul Robertson, Executive Vice President of Shaw Communications and President of Shaw Media, passed away Tuesday after a two-year battle with pancreatic cancer. He was 59.
