After the Prentice government hit the snooze button on a new legislature for Gay-Straight Alliances in the province, one Edmonton radio station has decided to start a club of their own — and everyone’s invited.

Hot 107 has put out a call to Edmontonians, welcoming them to join in the station’s own Gay-Straight Alliance.

Program director Troy Scott said the station was inspired to kick off its own club after the province opted to postpone third reading on Bill 10, which would allow for school boards to block Gay-Straight Alliances across the province, but offer students a chance to legally fight the decision.
