  1. How the once mighty dips lower. This isn’t good news for CHQR. Something needs to kick-start this situation, or is it too late? How many of Rutherfords listeners still listen to the station? Did they go somewhere, if so where? Predictions?

  2. Interesting how different both cities are for Corus. Country 105 #1 in Calgary and QR #6, meanwhile in Edmonton, CHED sits #2 and CISN #3. 2+ numbers but, after taking a look at the breakdown, CISN’s morning #’s have yet to recover from Sean Burke’s removal.

  3. In fairness to CISN, gotta think their numbers a fractured by CFCW at least a little bit, whereas Country 105 has zero competition in YYC.

  4. Agreed PAPA. But at the same time, CFCW’s numbers are strictly city numbers, pretty big numbers for an AM. Good on em’! Being able to take that much of a share from an FM in the same market, in my opinion, shows how well CFCW is programmed and at the same time, holes in CISN’s game!

  5. QR in Calgary has been dropping like a rock since Rutherfod got canned. The Kingkade and Kelly show is awful. They never take any calls. He loves to hear himself talk. She is a light weight.
They have to go if QR is going to survive.
