Cerna began work in 1975 as a news reporter and anchor at KOMO Radio, and then moved to KOMO-TV and KING-TV before going to KCTS.

I first met Robin (pictured) when I rolled into Vancouver’s CFOX as the Program Director. I was getting to know everybody on staff, and Robin was one of the last I got to meet. He did weekend on-air shifts and worked on production at night which is why it took a bit of time to meet him
