Salt Spring Island Still Wants a Local Radio Station
It could take a year for the licence to be approved, and society members may have to attend a hearing in Ottawa as part of the process. Some existing stations have the right to object if they feel a Salt Spring-based station could interfere with their signals.
Fire damages Fox, C-SPAN, MSNBC studios in DC

Netflix Grows Subscriber Base to 139 Million Worldwide
Two days after announcing that the price of its most popular U.S. plan would go up by $2, Netflix revealed that it has grown its subscriber base by 8.84 million, or nearly 26 percent.
