The keys were handed over to Pattison Media by Paul Larson yesterday. All the on-air staff, were laid off to make way for Pattison to introduce a new format, dropping the name The Lake.
Changes begin tomorrow morning at 6 o’clock, April 2nd on 103.9 CKOV.

For what its worth, I sure thought the Lake had something going. Mature djs, lots of tunes you didn’t hear on other stations, nice easy going station which really seemed to reflect the Okanagan lifestyle. I will miss it and especially Mark Jeffries show. I guess everything has a shelf life but sad it’s apparently getting blown up?
