Broadcasters worry about end of A.M. radio | Morning in America

Car makers are dropping A.M. radio from any new electric vehicles because interference causes static that makes the signal almost unlistenable. However, Oregon Sen. Ed Markey is calling on automakers to leave A.M. radio alone. WRDN owner Brian Winnekins joined Morning in America to talk about the significance of A.M. radio.

  1. I love AM radio. The content may be questionable at times; however, at night the opportunity to listen to distant stations (DX ing) is incredible because of “skip.”
