Fake news, “woke” is an interesting word. It has been around for almost a century in black culture. It was a call to the black community to wake up to the discrimination around them. It gained traction in the 70s when a character in a play says “I been sleeping all my life. And now that Mr. Garvey done woke me up, I’m gon’ stay woke. And I’m gon help him wake up other black folk.”
There is absolutely nothing wrong about waking up. I have seen people on this site tell others to “Wake Up! The vaccines are killing us.” Maybe you were one of them. How woke is that??
