Small Town Radio can still be fun and profitable!
On Friday June 19th, 2020, Cat Country 98 kicked off The 98 Days of Summer and Storage Wars! The Cat is giving away 98 Keys to open a storage locker stuffed with over $15,000 worth of prizes! On September 25th, one of the 98 keys will open the storage locker. (BBQ, Hot Tub, Patio Furniture, Power Tools and Lawn Mower type stuff)
Steve Huber says “since the launch of this promotion, we’ve had over 2500 online entries with Spin to Win and I’m still gigging at the positive response from both advertisers and listeners. Last summer, The Cat sent two lucky winners to see George Strait in Las Vegas, WestJet flights, Hotel accommodations at the MGM Grand Casino and Resort, and $500 USD spending money. The net last year was just north of $16k and this year we’re already well above that.”
Huber says that “small town radio can still be fun and profitable, plus it gives us a great opportunity to sound like a large market radio station in our listener’s mind.”
