CUMULUS Alternative WKQX/CHICAGO APD/MD/night-timer WALTER FLAKUS is moving to ENTERCOM Alternative KNDD (107.7 THE END)/SEATTLE for APD/afternoons from 3-7p, effective AUGUST 6th.

“We’re thrilled to welcome such a talented programmer to the 107.7 THE END team,” said ENTERCOM/SEATTLE SVP & Market Manager JACK HUTCHISON. “WALTER brings extensive experience and leadership both on and off the air which will benefit listeners and partners.”

FLAKUS said, “I’m so excited to be a part of the history of such a legendary station like 107.7 THE END. It’s been on my to-do list for many years. “I’d like to extend many thanks to LESLIE SCOTT [PD, 107.7 THE END] and DAVE RICHARDS [SVP, Programming and Operations, ENTERCOM SEATTLE] for making this happen. I guess now it’s time to invest in a rain jacket.”

STABWALT replaces JON MANLEY, who exited 107.7 THE END three months ago (NET NEWS, 4/29).
