What’s going on at iHEARTMEDIA Top 40 KBKS (106.1 KISS FM)/SEATTLE?  ALL ACCESS hears that morning co-host BENDER CUNNINGHAM was let go Wednesday after 17 years and the station is running jockless and without the usual IDs, airing sweepers with alternating comments like “All good things must come to an end.  SEATTLE…. thank you” and “Anyone else notice it’s a bit quiet around here today?  Where’d everybody go?”

Meanwhile, a page hidden on the station’s website, apparently a test page posted early yesterday, was headlined, “KISS IS DEAD,”  before suddenly reverting to a page that read, “We really tried our best, but we couldn’t find the page you were looking for.”

    Stay tuned….

  1. I hope they didn’t let Bender go. That would be a big mistake!!! You will lose almost all of your listeners!! I love the Bender & Molly show.
