Less than seven months on the air and Sportsnet 650, Vancouver’s new sports radio station, is being hit with its first major roster shakeup.

  1. Intriguing. Is there a Vancouver-based TV station that just felt the medium needed him back? I’d be shocked by that development.

  2. 3 sports radio stations in a market like Vancouver…pulleeeez!
Steve sees the reality of this, as do TSN/Sportsnet…more will leave these stations, but where do they go locally?

  3. That would be an odd move but he does have a talk show record there. He wouldn’t be the first to return to the Corus-Global ship after being fired. We have Bob Addison back on the black tower running the Drex program.

  4. I get the feeling that as the NDP build new schools they will be freeing up many portables. Look for the portables to move to Lake City to be the NEW (used ) studios of NW. A money saver for sure.

  5. I hear ya Lars, Don’t understand what the Big deal is about Steve Darling? He’s yesterday’s news, and mediocre at best!
