Adriana Zhang

 

Adriana Zhang joins Global News Winnipeg from TBT News in Thunderbay, Ontario where she wore many hats as a reporter, weather presenter and anchor. She holds an Honours Bachelor of Science at the University of Toronto and a broadcast journalism diploma from Humber College. Zhang was born in China, but was raised in Winnipeg and is happy to be back in her hometown.

In addition to her role on Global News Winnipeg, Zhang will join 680 CJOB Winnipeg weekday mornings as Weather Specialist. You can catch Zhang on-air early March.

  1. Too bad she’s going to Winnipeg… weather pretty drab there. Sunny and cold, Sunny and cold, Blizzard, Sunny and cold, mosquito season, Blizzard.

  2. More eye candy. Pretty bad that these news outlets only hire eye candy and not actually the smart ones who might not look as good.

  3. Honours Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry and Psychology from the University of Toronto plus her diploma in broadcast journalism isn’t “smart” enough for you?

  4. Television is a notorious “eye candy” medium. Only the prettiest women seem to get hired. Nobody cares if you are smart, as long as you look good.
