  1. Congratulations, Red. A well-deserved honour! As a long-time friend, I wonder what took the committee so long? Enjoy.

  2. Long overdue. Well deserved.

Red, you are in the pantheon of colourful British Columbia pioneers that helped make our province unique.

    Long may you talk on-air.

  3. Red Robinson is the reason I got into radio. Damn you, Red Robinson!
All kidding aside, congratulations to a great guy who loves everybody, but isn’t afraid to say what he thinks. Looks like you’re going to have to build another wing on your mantelpiece, Red. (If you look at the several metric tonnes of awards Red has won, this isn’t that far-fetched.)
Good going, grizzled relic of the Old West!

  4. Red, you certainly deserve this honor because, not only are you a great and unique talent, but also you inspired and helped so many others (including myself).
As I wrote in another article, Canada should be so proud of Red Robinson because he was (and still is) the radio worlds’ best sound stylist. No one could ever challenge you!
P.S. It was so awesome to visit with you and Doc at the airport. Thanks for your magnanimity.
