Clayton, 62, joined ESPN as senior NFL writer and commentator in 1995 after working as an NFL and Seattle Seahawks beat writer for The News Tribune. He was inducted into the writers’ wing of the Pro Football Hall of Fame in 2007. Clayton has hosted his weekly radio show on 710 ESPN Seattle since the station’s inception in 2009.

Sources close to the station confirmed that Justin Myers, one of the current show’s co-hosts, was dismissed on Wednesday while Gee Scott has been reassigned to other duties with the station.
