Crystal Darche Leaves Vancouver for Middays on FRESH Radio 92.5 Edmonton

Thanks to Broadcast Dialogue we have word that Crystal Darche will become the new midday personality at 92.5 Fresh Radio Edmonton beginning Monday. She had been the midday host at JR Country Vancouver for more than a decade and, most recently, was working with Bell Media Vancouver’s AC stations, QMFM and Virgin Radio.

  1. Wow, good for you Crystal. Now there is someone who really loves radio and wants to stay in it.
And that is what you have to do. Not saying Crystal is old but she’s not exactly a BCIT Grad. Even at these later stages of the broadcast game it’s too bad you have to up root and start all over again in a new city, but hey, whatever works. Congrats

  2. I remember her in Victoria at Jack…… Glad for her to move on to bigger and better things, She will be missed in BC. I guess she will now be an Oilers fan with McDavid coming to Edmonton.
    Good Luck Crystal

  3. Good for you Crystal. Happy to hear the news.
It was a joy working with such a pro for so many years at JRfm!
You may now have to retire that Canuck jersey and become an Oilers fan. Ouch.

  4. I still remember when Crystal was the weekend/fill-in girl at Victoria’s Oldies 900 nearly 25 years ago, and long before Jack. Then it was onto Vancouver and overnights on Rogers’ GTO (Good Time Oldies) network. Congrats on the move!
