Well…the memo is out…I’m sad to say I’m no longer a part of CFCW.
Very few people can say that they have had dreams come true…I’m extremely lucky that I can say I’ve had two dreams come true in my Radio career. When I was growing up…I dreamed of working at CFCW & K97…I couldn’t be more honoured to look back & say I got to work on both.
To all the CFCW listeners…THANK YOU for making me feel right at home on CFCW.
THANK YOU to everyone at Newcap Edmonton. You are all amazing people & I’m very proud to call you all Friends.
Special Thanks to Steve Jones & Newcap Radio…for giving me opportunities to grow & learn.
A finally…THANK YOU to Jackie Rae, Stella Stevens Cfcw, AJ Keller Cfcw, Larry Donohue, Marisa Jodoin & of course…my on-air partner & dear Friend Sharon Mallon. Thank you for making me feel right at home. I’m sad it wasn’t a longer journey, but…that’s the way life goes sometimes.
One door closes….another opens.
I’m extremely excited about the future…joining the great team at KG Country in Red Deer. Still working out the official start date, but I’m sure it will be in the next few weeks.
Leaving one legendary radio station for another legendary radio station. You know…Life’s pretty darn good

It has been a pleasure listening to you.I am a very long time listener and am both saddened and happy for you. Best wishes for the future from Miss teacher’s mom. Red Deer is fortunate to have you but we will miss you. Poor Sharon ,you both were terrific. Once again best wishes to you and your family.

Best of luck to you Gruff. Greg Shannon left some big shoes to fill at KG and I think they found the right size in you! I was fortunate enough to have spend a good part of the 90’s at KG. You won’t find better listeners anywhere.
