In a very rare achievement, veteran broadcaster Stirling Faux marked 50 years on Vancouver radio airwaves February 25. After moving from eastern Canada, he started as the noon to 3:00 p.m. host at CKLG AM 730 in 1974. With much of his career served at CKNW AM 980, Faux is still on the air as p.m. drive host at Wave 98.3 CIWV-FM.
