Sad news of the passing of Kim Larsson in BC. Kim passed away late Friday after a brief battle with lung cancer over the last 3 months. He was well known for reporting traffic on CKNW, AM730, and CISL in Vancouver since 2012, and flew around in the Eye In the Sky helicopter. Previously he reported traffic on News1130. He was 66 (1956-2023)

How unfortunate. He was a clear, articulate presenter, unlike so many of the people who are on the air now.
100 percent right. Have a listen to amateurs on NW and Global. And maybe NW can stay away from hiring another Australian? The older woman is listenable, but Mosconi’s accent is annoying. Example: all her stories on “fires” pronounced “fi-ahs” we had to endure night after night.
