Great song for the first day of summer.
And of course I didn’t recognize the Jamies nor the song until I heard the opening chorus. I was 7 when it was released so I am guessing I might be remembering commercials. Wikipedia mentions Applebys and Buick.
When I first listened to it last night I thought the verses sounded kind of goofy and I wasn’t going to comment but here here I am 15 hours later with the song stuck in my head and enjoying it. I can see why companies would use it sell their products.
