Veteran retired Seattle radio personality Bob Rivers, now operating his own blog and taking a medical leave, announces he has had his diagnosis, chemo and radiation, recovery, and surgery prep over the last four months, and is being well cared for by the surgical teams at Virginia Mason Medical Center. Known for his Twisted Tunes, Rivers had a 25 year run in Seattle beginning at KISW-FM in 1989, then at KZOK-FM from 2001-10 and finally at KJR-FM from 2011-14. Bob Rivers Announcement
