Songbird was formed in 1972 in Victoria, BC as Canadian music singer Tom Middleton’s backup band opening up the then brand new Royal Oak Inn, just north of Victoria for four weeks. Steve Moyer on lead and vocals, Robert, the Pianoman Deans on keyboards, and Don Hardy on drums
