John Vos replaces Syd Smith

John Vos has been promoted to Regional Program Director, Alberta at Corus Radio. The move comes ahead of the retirement of Syd Smith, Director of Talk and Talent at Corus Radio Edmonton, who is set to step down Oct. 31 after 24 years with 630 CHED. Vos has been with Corus for 14 years, most recently as Director of Talk and Talent in Calgary. In his new role, he’ll lead and oversee talk operations in both Calgary and Edmonton, working with executive producers in each market to drive editorial and help execute strategic direction. All full-time talent and the executive producer of CHED will report directly to Vos.
