Edgar Holland Winter (born December 28, 1946) is an American musician, songwriter, and record producer.[1] He is known for being a multi-instrumentalist—keyboardist, guitarist, saxophonist and percussionist—as well as a singer. Great performer. Especially when Rick Derringer was playing the guitar. Hat’s off to Edgar and his brother Johhny for springing forth from their albinism challenge and making a mark in the music world. Our own John Kay from Steppenwolf suffers from total colourblindness and he overcame that related challenge and went on to musical success. And of course Jeff Healy.
