  1. I think what stuck out for me is that Rock 101 losing listeners and the continuing troubles at the Rogers stations. Rock 101 has tired hosts and Jack has tried everything in the last few years to improve themselves. Think changes will be made but not until just after the next ratings period.

  2. +12 numbers mean nothing. 25-54 male/female is the sweet spot and until those numbers are produced and further broken down on this forum, forget it.

  3. Agree with Jeff…smooth & easy had listeners…650 sports (I’m a sports fan) is hockeyhockeyhockey, mostly the Canuck variety. Hey Rogers, it’s boring!
Am not a subscriber/shareholder, so burn your money…

  4. Re Sportsnet 650.
    Radio is “Entertainment”.
Talking about the same thing over and over and over again is not entertainment.
    It’s a mental illness.

  5. Larry Jordan I think the research shows Vancouver will always be interested in Canuck talk. The problem with SN650 is the hosts who are about 75% abysmal. The morning show is a basket case (although it was a bigger basket case when the station started) and the rest of the day doesn’t get any better with hosts that should probably be working small markets in the interior or on the prairies; not a major market like Vancouver.

That said, Unless the hosts are working extremely cheap I really wonder how either sports station can justify 2 stations fighting over a 2.5-3 share with a small number of women.
