Many Happy Returns of The Day, Mr. Robinson!!!

My long time PSR side kick and assistant, as well as a former boss, Ron Robinson is another year older on this New Years Day…   85 years ago today, this new broadcaster was welcomed into the world.

after congratulating Ron, with thanks, he added, One ruminates on how few there are left! Not to worry Ron, you still have to finish this years Today In Broadcast History.

Many thanks for all you do in helping keep Puget Sound Radio running on a daily basis. Congratulations Ron!

  1. It wasn’t 85 years ago today but close to 55 years. That’s when I was looking for a job and you asked me if I wanted to learn some TV in Prince George. I did! Seven years later I was in Vancouver at CHQM. The rest is history. Thanks for getting me started all those years ago. Have a Happy Birthday and a wonderful 2018. All the best Ron.

  2. Happy B’Day Mr. Robinson!

You and your Colleagues perform a Great Public Service by your work with PSR and I for one thank all of you!

Much Success for PSR in 2018!

Nice to see the comment from Mr. Bell.

  3. Hi Ron, hope you have a great birthday. I was looking up info on you for your old friend Jim Robson in Vancouver and thought about Google. Well here we are. Will let Jim know where you are. You did a tape for me and the ice comedy routine I performed in 1962 when you were at CKWX in Vancouver. You were a class act then and still are. Allthe best to you and yours in 2020.
    Cheers John Bate.
