Lan Roberts, one of Seattle’s best-known disc jockeys in the heyday of the city’s powerhouse AM rock stations, died Friday at his home in Texas of complications from lung cancer. He was 69.

As a kid, trekking down to Seattle for visiting relatives, recall picking up very sharp looking record surveys put out by KOL They must have given KJR a run for ratings back in the late ‘60s. RIP, Lan.
