SEATTLE SEAHAWKS radio color commentator and Hall of Fame quarterback WARREN MOON (pictured) is facing a sexual harassment lawsuit from an employee of his marketing company and has requested a leave of absence from the broadcasts, which air on BONNEVILLE Sports KIRO-A (710 ESPN)/SEATTLE.

The WASHINGTON POST reports that WENDY HASKELL, MOON’s former assistant at SPORTS 1 MARKETING in IRVINE, CA, filed the suit in ORANGE COUNTY, CA, claiming that MOON harassed her while she worked for his company, including drugging her drink on a business trip to MEXICO, requiring her to sleep in the same bed with him on business trips, grabbing her crotch while she slept, and several other claims of unwanted sexual advances and objectionable behavior.

BROCK HUARD and DAVE WYMAN (former players now broadcasting with 710 ESPN Seattle) will fill in as analysts on SEAHAWKS broadcasts in MOON’s absence.

  1. Oh my, another hero with, at best, a severely tarnished reputation IF the allegations prove out. Wonder how Edmonton media will handle the story? Warren Moon, Doug Flutie, Ron Lancaster and Joe Kapp remain my favourite CFL pivots. Guess the late-night comics will feast on the detail of him allegedly grabbing the sleeping lady’s privates. Variations of “He didn’t want to fumble.”
