iHeartMedia Goes All Christmas in Chicago

93.9 MYfm in Chicago will broadcast around-the-clock Christmas now through the holiday season. On-air personalities Kristina Kage, Robin Rock and Mick Lee will continue to host the station’s programming. When not playing holiday music, the MYfm format is AC.

PD Mick Lee said, “It’s the most wonderful time of the year and we’re so happy that millions of Chicagoan’s choose to make 93.9 MYfm part of their families’ annual holiday traditions. In our 17th year as Chicago’s Christmas Music Station, get ready for lots of fun holiday surprises in the coming weeks!”

“With all the turmoil in the world today, we felt Chicago needed a little more Christmas right now,” said Matt Scarano, President of iHeartMedia Markets Group’s Chicago Region. “The extension of the Christmas music season will allow Chicagoans to get into the Holiday spirit even more this year. “

Beasley Flips to Holiday Music in Tampa


It started today at the new b98.7 in Tampa. The station will be playing all Christmas music from now through Christmas Day. Beasley launched the new B98.7 on January 5th. The Mainstream Adult Contemporary station kicked off with 10,000 songs in a row, featuring Today’s Hits and Yesterday’s Favorites from a wide variety of artists like Maroon 5, Pink and Journey.

 “Kristi and I are big fans of Christmas music and the memories that it brings to so many people,” said Program Director and Morning Show Host Chadd Thomas. Morning Show Co-Host Kristi added, “This year, especially, with the devastation from all of the hurricanes, the Las Vegas tragedy and all of the bad news stories, there are a lot of people that are craving the comfort that the Christmas season brings more than ever. We are thrilled to be able to provide that.”
