The nominees have been rolling out Wednesday morning for the 2017 Canadian Country Music Association Awards show.

It will take place Sunday, Sep. 10 at SaskTel Centre.

The awards were last held in Saskatoon in 2012, when Dean Brody won Album of the Year for DIRT.

Thanks to a tie in the nomination process, there’s one more name in the category for Male Artist of the Year. Gord Bamford, Chad Brownlee, Tim Hicks, Brett Kissel, Aaron Pritchett and Dallas Smith are all up for the award.

Saskatchewan native Jess Moskaluke is up for Female Artist of the Year once again. The singer from Langenburg has won the category each year since 2014.

New to the scene is the James Barker Band, who has five nominations including Album of the Year, Group or Duo of the Year, Rising Star, Single of the Year and Video of the Year.
