Universe – Estimated population of the Central Market Area.

Central Market Area – A Numeris defined geographical area, usually centred around one urban centre. The definition of a Central Market Area generally corresponds to Statistics Canada Census Metropolitan Areas, Census Agglomeration, Cities, Counties, Census Divisions or Regional Districts.

Share – Within the central market area, the estimated total hours tuned to that station expressed as a percentage of total hours tuned to all radio.

Central (Ctrl) Reach – The estimated number of different people, within the central market area, who tuned to that station for at least one quarter hour during the week. Value is expressed in 000’s.

  1. One would have to think that the Bridge would be poised to make a leap soon. After Rogers split the morning show on Rock 106 and slid the more rock sounding guy up to The River (now kiss) you would think that people would move over to 98.1 and listen to a much better morning show.

  2. The problem with the Bridge is the morning show. The music they are playing is fantastic but the morning show sounds like I’m listening to college radio. At least if it was college radio they would talk about stuff I give a shit about. Hearing about kids and softball all the time makes me flip the channel. I’ve never heard them once tell me anything about the bands and music I love listening too on that station. It’s funny that they split up Fraser and Rosie and they still beat the Bridge, them being behind B93 has to be a tough pill to swallow.
