Former CBC Vancouver announcer and program host Bob Switzer passed away July 14, 2015. According to Gord Lansdell at Northwesters Broadcasters, his wife Joley is planning a Celebration of Life for Sunday, June 5 at Gleneagles Public Golf Club, 6190 Marine Drive, West Vancouver. Finger food will be served from 1 to 2 p.m. followed by the formal part of the day. Dress is casual (jeans and shirts) or tropical (Hawaiian, for example).
