Edmonton radio stations Fresh FM and Capital FM ‘both’ went all Christmas music this morning…
(Radio stations in Washington DC, Chicago, Albany NY and Los Angeles went All-Xmas yesterday, Thursday Nov. 12)

One of the things I love about the celebration of the Christmas season south of the border starts on the US Thanksgiving day, this year being Thursday November 26th which is the official day of celebrating the season… thats early enough for me and would be an acceptable time to start playing Christmas music, but of course radio stations each want to get a first out of the gate, besides its all about the ratings and lets face it, Xmas music draws listeners as the PPMs have proven time and time again.
good gawd, I just clicked into both of the stations a few minutes ago. Total turnoff. How can anyone listen to all these unknown xmas tunes in the first place.
