Happy Anniversary!CUMULUS SVP/Programming JAN JEFFRIES tells ALL ACCESS Classic Hits WLS-F/CHICAGO, “will schedule a Happy Anniversary DICK BIONDI salute liner throughout TODAY (5/1). It is BIONDI’s 55th anniversary of joining WLS — although the actual anniversary date is MAY 2nd — however, since it is SATURDAY, we will celebrate and announce it TODAY.”
JEFFRIES added BIONDI has had, “an amazing career and we are proud and honored to have the wild I-Tralian still rockin’ nights at 94-7 WLS! We love you man!”

Wow! I used to listen to him when I was a kid.
I remember when he was on WKBW-Buffalo before heading to Chicago.
I remember listening to him on my “Rocket Radio”! Did he actually say, “For all the virgins out there, it only hurts for a little while”. Or was that folk lore?
Another of his great lines was: “if girls skirts get any shorter, they’ll have two more cheeks to powder”. I think he got fired from ‘KB for that one and ended up at WLS
