The Vandals – My First Christmas as a Woman
I’ve been doing my darndest to inject some degree of diversity into this feature. It is the 21st Century after all! In the past ten days I’ve taken you on a journey through the Canadian back(bacon)woods, into the Australian outback, and various other points in between. But I’ve come to the revelation that I am lacking one staple of diversity; human diversity to be precise. Case in point: how do our many friends in the gay, lesbian, bisexual and transgendered community (better known as the GLBT) celebrate this time of year? In my mind, this anxt-ridden metal track provided a most eloquent portrayal!
