After nearly seven decades on the air, Medicine Hat’s CHAT-TV has signed off for the last time.
The station’s end came at 9:30 a.m. Tuesday after financial pressures proved too much to remain on the air, said the president of the station’s owner, Pattison Media.
“We kept the station going longer than we should have because we knew what the impact would be on the community,” said Rod Schween.
