Brian Wilson, the chief songwriter of the Beach Boys died on June 11, 2025. He was 82. Brian Wilson had suffered from major cognitive disorder. He had been diagnosed after the death of his wife, Melinda Wilson. The Beach Boys recorded hits like “Surfin’ USA” and “California Girls” – which reminded music lovers of the southern California beach lifestyle. Some called them the American band of the time and highlighting singles like “Good Vibrations” pointed to the band citing the musical genius of Brain Wilson.
