Many viewers have noticed a familiar face missing from CTV Morning Live over recent weeks.
Weather specialist Marke Driesschen has been away since March due to a health issue – but his family shared some good news Wednesday about his recovery.
“After an extended stay and excellent care at Lions Gate Hospital, we want everyone to know that Marke is making great progress,” the family said, in a statement.
“He is home now and getting stronger every day. He fully expects to be back on the air – but not until his doctors give him the OK.”
The veteran broadcaster suffered a serious fall near their North Vancouver home on March 29, which left him with a “major head injury,” the family said.
