What are the Benefits of Registering with PSR?

I'd like to take this time to assure our readers there is no downside to registering and becoming a full fledged member of our board. PSR, like all websites can see IP addresses of visitors and members to our site. I assure you ALL websites have this capacity. Therefore, we'd like to encourage those visitors who have yet to register, to do so without fear of any hassle or complication. One need not use their own name, but a nic with an email addy, such as Gmail Html etc., for confirmation is necessary for our Eblah forum. The benefits are certainly plentiful, especially when it comes to the access to our audios and video's, not to mention access to our Private Messages feature between members of PSR.

Why do we require registration? well, lets put it this way, Puget Sound Radio dot com has no financial support at this time, however, we're now preparing a presentation to potential targeted clients. We will not display banner advertising for the sake of selling advertising. Our banner ads will be simple, clean, uncluttered and tasteful, with links to our sponsors websites. We know and understand our target audience and believe the benefits of welcoming this type of client. For this purpose it would be beneficial to maximize our membership; to date we have more than 1600 signed up members. The more members registered, the better we can show PSR means business amongst our clients, as well as our members.

the Healthier Puget Sound Radio looks, the easier the sell...

Puget Sound Radio dot com is a proud member of the Broadcast Community and we look forward to keeping and continuing the 'connection' of the radio and television Industry here in the great Pacific North West.

In closing, on behalf of my Administrators, I'd like to thank Our Members, those who have registered with Puget Sound Radio dot com, and we look forward to welcoming and opening the gates of PSR for all VISITORS through registration to our site.

Thank You,
and Happy Posting
Mike

email: michael.easton@gmail.com

.

Dear Members and Visitors,

There's nothing like a little bit of excitement in the 'day to day' operation a radio message board. Just when you think everything's running smoothly, that "glitch" moves into place and does a number. Yesterday was no exception. Not only knocking us down for the afternoon, but leaving us minus a couple of days posts. It also appears we may have lost a few 'new' members who registered over the last few days. It looks as though they may have jettison off to internet oblivion.
If you registered over the last few days, please re-register and we'll let you in the gate.

Disappointment? yes, well, I'm sure we've all lost data in this world wide internet at some point in time and there's not a heck of alot one can do but move forward....

I jokingly spoke of the introduction of our latest Puget Sound Radio feature "Air-Checker" as beinging the reason our site went down because it's so hot!
Well, I believe we've hit on something real big. Thanks so much for all the emails and responses regarding Radio Man's request for air-checks, the response has been overwhelming. Please keep those tapes/cassette/cds, you name it, coming in. It looks like Radio Man is going to be able to share some golden "nuggets", such as Barry Bowman on CFAX1070.com, Jeff Rechner, Craig Fee, Lan Roberts, Pat O'Day, Larry Lujak, Gord Robson, Don Percy, Red Robinson, just to name a few of our great jocks from yesteryear and today!
click on the following link and Please, let's Hear from you. What do you think of this feature. Will you listen to these exclusive radio air-checks? We need to hear from you, your input is what helps to energize each of us.

thanks Radio Man, your not just a fan, you're the Radio Man!
http://www.pugetsoundradio.com/forum/m-1196450961/s-new/

email Radio Man aircheckerpsr@gmail.com

Charts! Did I hear Charts? yes, an ol' school chum and radioguy name Roy Kendall, whose name is Mr. Charts, a man about radio/record charts here in the Great Pacific Northwest!
Roy will be joining us in the new year with his personal collection and section which includes Seattle Radio stations KJR Channel 95, Kolorful KOL 1300, KOMO 1000, KIRO 710, KVI 570, as well as Vancouver radio stations CKLG 730, CFUN 1410, CKWX 1130 and CJOR 600.... coming soon to PSR

New Things happening in the New Year here on Puget Sound Radio dot com

stay tuned,
Thanks
Mike

Welcome Back

Dear Members and Visitors,

Welcome back!

If you hadn't noticed, Puget Sound Radio website has been down most of the afternoon. It all started with slow-downs and 'log-in' problems with our Eblah forum this morning, which eventually led to our site going down early this afternoon.

Although we're back up to 'almost' Full steam, it appears we've lost almost two days of our current posts. Not only are we are currently in the process of re-building our daily feature, "Today in Broadcast History" but trying to pin-point the cause of the original problem.

We're not sure, but some of the guys figure it's Radio Man's latest Puget Sound Radio feature "Air-Checker" that brought us down. Perhaps it's just too hot to handle!
I guarantee you, Radio Man shall return.

We apologize for any inconvenience. In the meantime, all's well for posting,

so, Happy Posting!

thanks,
Mike

Michael E Easton
Owner/General Manager
Puget Sound Radio dot com
mee@pugetsoundradio.com
