Time to put it on the line here folks. Here's what my crystal ball is telling me:
1) Vancouver Canucks will make the playoffs, but lose out in the first round. 2) Edmonton will make the playoffs as will Calgary. Please crystal ball, grant us a Battle of Alberta round in the post-season. Force the Eastern bastards to watch one of the greatest rivalries in hockey! 3) Fall is here, the Leafs are out (no playoffs, again) 4) Ottawa will make it, but 2nd round loser 5) Montreal appears to be the strongest Canadian team methinks. I see them going to the Conference Finals before bowing out.
Scoring Champion: Ovechkin Stanley Cup Champion: Pittsburgh over Detroit Vezina Winner: Martin Brodeur First Coach Firing: John Anderson - Atlanta
Will Sundin sign? No Where will Khabibulin surface? LA Kings or one of those SE teams (Fla, Tampa or Atlanta)
And I for one hope the Continental Hockey League (Russia's version of the NHL) is a huge success, putting the kibosh on Bettman's Europe expansion plans! |
