Canuck swimmers claim more medals  Friday, September 12, 2008 Vancouver's Donovan Tildesley claims bronze- Paralympics - Stephanie Dixon of Victoria smashed her Canadian record for silver and Donovan Tildesley of Vancouver and Benoit Huot of Montreal each added a bronze medal in swimming action Thursday in Beijing.
In the women's 200-metre individual medley in the S9 disability category, Natalie Du Toit of South Africa won in a world record 2:27.83. Dixon bettered her Canadian record by three seconds for the silver in 2:37.54.
In the men's 400-metre freestyle for visually impaired, Tildesley was third in 4:49.45. In the men's 200-metre individual medley in the S10 disability class, Huot won his second bronze of the competition, finishing in 2:15.22.
