Fisher Communications, Inc. Promotes Rob Dunlop to Senior Vice President of Operations

Fisher Communications, Inc. (NASDAQ: FSCI) today announced the promotion of Robert I. Dunlop to Senior Vice President of Operations. In this position, Mr. Dunlop will have operational responsibilities for Fisher's 28 broadcast properties and will continue to oversee the Company's digital and technology initiatives. Mr. Dunlop's appointment was effective August 1, and he will report to Fisher President and Chief Executive Officer Colleen Brown.

Mr. Dunlop joined Fisher in 1991 as Program and Operations Manager for the Company's Seattle radio properties. In 1995, he became Vice President and Station Manager, and in 1999 was promoted to Vice President and General Manager. In 2006, he was appointed a Senior Vice President, assisting the senior management team in developing the Company's strategic plan and launching Fisher's Developing Media unit.
Mr. Dunlop, 41, received a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Ohio State University and an MBA from the University of Washington.
