From Red's latest TV Week column...

Al Ferraby, who hosts the Wake Up Team on CFAX 1070 in Victoria each morning, had the honour of flying to Toronto and representing BC media in the Canadian Idol Media Idol finals; Al has an outstanding singing voice. Still in Victoria, Kool FM morning host Frankie Hollywood is moving to Halifax where his family lives. Another departure is that of Steve Ireland, who is gone from the newsroom. It’s starting to sound as if the captain of the ship is steering in the wrong direction.

Anyone know where Steve is headed?  Has he joined the ranks of broadcasters who have turned in their mics for a job in the provincial government?

Looks like he's quit his job and is moving to Denman Island.
