Well, that's going to be interesting. That would wipe out 850, but 830 especially since they're both south east of Edmonton, so directional antennas won't help there. Sigh.
On the flipside, maybe they'll finally change whatever equipment they are using that is causing the audio signal to be very narrow, bandwidth wise (even on the internet streaming feed!)
I guess the trend is to change all of their stations to FM though - if 830 CKKY goes FM, and CKWY-FM is any indication, their coverage area will be reduced from what it is now. If that goes through, what's left, 95.5 CKGY-FM? Sporadic coverage.
