Country 105 tops radio ratings

Country 105 reclaimed radio ratings bragging rights in Calgary following the release of the latest BBM ratings for the spring 2008 season.

The BBM ratings -- for the reporting period of June 8 to April 14 -- found the country music powerhouse with a share of 9.4, in listeners 12 and up.

CBC Radio One, which was tops last time out, dropped down into a tie for third place with Lite 96 -- both stations pulling in an 8.1 share.

Vibe 92.5 grabbed sole possession of second place with a 9.3.

Rounding out the top five are QR 77 with 7.9 and one-time rock juggernaut CJAY 92 bringing up the rear with 7.4.

Dear Print,

If you can't publish a measly 5 line article about radio without getting 2 major facts wrong, just don't bother.

Thanks.
