This has to be the second lowest book K-97 has ever had, next to their 4.1 a year ago. A nice start for Capital FM and I suspect they'll still go higher. One question: Is there another company in Canada like Newcap Edmonton that has three music stations where the AM (CFCW) almost always does better than the two FMs (Capital FM, K-97)? I was listening to K-97 last week for the first time in ages. I liked Melissa Wright, back in her own show, but I find Terry Evans to be more boring and tired than ever in the breakfast slot. I really wonder whether he's given up. Also, the switch of CHQT to all news has obviously hurt sister CHED. A great book for CISN.
Way too soon to see the effect of I-News on CHED. Wait until the S4 book numbers in December. But based on the age (and they're old) of the CHED audience, I'm now not so sure a younger targeted Headline News type of format will attract the white hairs. As many of you have told me, it may work. We'll see.

Yep...Corus Winnipeg:
CJOB AM (Newstalk) = 15.6 CJKR FM (Rock) = 9.5 CJGV FM (Jazz) = 1.6
